A/N: Hey guys I’m back on my elementalists brainrot!! So I know that there’s some difference in my headcanons again - like that my mc (Anna) makes art and posts it on social media as a hobby and that she’s a double major (idk what subjects yet). And Atlas grew up in a Slavic country (I’m thinking the Czech Republic) but making little stories about them is part of my livelihood now! Yes, these are purposefully set in 2020 (no covid in this au ofc) because I wanted this thread in particular to be set when they just started their junior year. These were really fun to make! Ranting about Nucani

There is something I want to express and this fandom should know.

Nu: Carnival is a Harem game but unlike most games in the genre the relationships with MC are all canon within the same story, there are no "Routes", no "Alternate Universe/Timelines", it's all 1 Main Story where you get to gradually meet all the Characters who'll be your companions, in this game named Clan members, and all of them one way or another end up falling for Eiden (MC), which makes polyam relationship canon with Eiden as the center:

Like very few games have polyam representation, let alone a positive one, like yes the polycule it's very Eiden central but even then all the Clan Members interact with one another, as we see mainly in the time limited Events but also in the Main Story, and have friendly and amicable interactions, they rely on one another sometimes even without Eiden being involved.

But also, Aster and Morvay have a relationship established too since way before the events of the prologue of the game, Kuya and Quincy have hinted some sort of situationship (idk I don't care about Quincy and my knowledge about Kuya is limited to what happens in the story and events cause I have no limited SSRs nor have I read any of his Intimacy Rooms).

[Also if any of you knows of any other relationship that have been hinted at that i'm missing feel free to share, i specifically ask of you to refer to only canon, i know in fanon anything and everything is possible and sometimes we may be missperceiving some interactions between characters so i ask of you to take those rose tinted glasses off and see unfiltered canon, it's hard for me too ngl so dw]

All this started with some posts I saw about ppl feeling bad for Yakumo and/or Edmond to be "forced into a polyam relationship" when they are the "most romantic members" and "deserve a monogamous relationship", their words not mine, as if mono > poly , but also do you really think they're against it!?

One thing is being Clan Members against their will (which is all Huey's fault btw), having to work together to regulate the Altars' Essence (or their own) and then another one completely is involving themselves in a personal and intimate way with Eiden, which the latter they all did in their own terms and out of free will.

Also i wanna share one of the best and my fav scenes with Karu, which i know not everyone was able to experience it cause it's hidden in the Intimacy Rooms of a Limited SSR, but it expresses exactly why the polycule is consensual.

Context: Eiden has been worrying about forcing the Clan Members to be with him because he is the New Grand Sorcerer, against their will just because of Huey's magic that ties them together and the responsibility of Regulating the Altars and basically maintaining stability in the Klein Continent.

His worries began (at least that i noticed) in "Eerie Escapade" (Halloween Event), that was also the first time Garu got hurt while protecting Eiden and the first time Karu got mad at him and fronted to yell at Eiden (which is my another fav scene of Karu omg i love him so much i gotta go back and take screenshots of that but that's for another post), the second one being in "Army x Blood x Oath" (which are the screenshots i'll show u)

Because this are the Intimacy Rooms of Garu/Karu's Limited SSR this scene focuses on Eiden feeling guilty because Garu got hurt in the past (Halloween Event) and this time he lost his memory (temporarily, due to this event's story) and Eiden blaming himself for it all and wondering if they would be better off without him, but the same can and is applied to the rest of the Clan Members, seeing how Eiden met and approached Rei while respecting his privacy and independency even tho he's also a Clan Member and the newest introduced in the story, means that the Limited Events are also canon and part of the story because Eiden seems to be growing and learning from previous Events and showing that development in future Events and the Main Story.

Karu also mentions that Garu (prior to losing his memories) was also worrying about the same thing Eiden was, like 'what if Master (Eiden) stays with us just because of the contract with Huey? :c' and he calls them both idiots because they don't communicate and fronts to fix it! (Mighty Karu to the rescue)

And talking about "Eerie Escapade" that is also the event where Yakumo's possessiveness towards Eiden shows, i'll admit i haven't seen the last room but i feel like those people i mentioned before are using it as fuel to their idea, because if Yakumo is jealous of other Clan Members interacting with Eiden and "Wants him all to himself" that must mean he wants a monogamous relationship, right?

WRONG!

That just means Yakumo is a complex person that feels different emotions specially when it comes to the most important person in his life (Eiden) other than his grandparents!

And Yakumo feels guilty for having those feelings, not because of them being in a polycule and he not wanting to be in it, but because he has trauma and sees his desires and wants as selfishness and he would never allow himself to be selfish cause he doesn't want to hurt people, he's a people's pleaser! He lives with constant fear of hurting others like the Great Serpent did when it killed many (but apparently there may be more that meets the eye, because the current event hinted that the Great Serpent actually liked humans and took care of children ???)

And Yakumo dealing with those feelings along with his yokai powers as a descendant of The Great Serpent have been the main topic of his last 3 Limited SSRs, which is great because that means CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT~

Now unfortunately i cannot talk about Edmond's Intimacy Rooms as i'm missing ALL OF HIS SSRs (why do you hate me Edmond if ily) but from what i've seen he's also pretty happy being with Eiden, heck even HIS MOM is happy his son is with Eiden!

That's right, she's the first and only parent of the Clan Members that knows and approves of their relationship, if it weren't because most of them are orphan we could get many more... i wonder if Yakumo's grandparents are aware hmmm ... and we all know Olivine's parents are gonna HATE it xD and maybe Garu's wolf pack will approve of Eiden by the end of this event.

With weakening steps, you try to make it to the kitchen, perhaps you’re just dehydrated.

But no, this is wrong.

Why is it so hot? And what’s this coat of cold sweat drenching your clothes?

Leaning against the wall, you finally make it to the kitchen, parched lips finally tasting the insipid sweetness of cool water.

And yet, the awful sensation doesn’t dissipate.

Your breathing grows heavier, it might be best to go back to bed.

Was the room always spinning, though?

This is bad, your legs can’t hold you anymore.

The last thing you remember before blackness engulfs you is the hard wooden floor hitting your knees and a subtle lavender fragrance, wrapping itself around you in balmy waves of softness.

Your room.

You remember exiting it this morning, but the way back to it… it’s all blurry.

Perhaps you dreamt it in your feverish state; however, you think you remember someone holding your body, a steady heartbeat lulling you into the peaceful sleep you hadn’t known for days.

Your lashes flutter open, the purple skies outside sending in dusk light into the space.

“You are finally awake, dear.” A soothing voice greets you.

Then, you register the pleasing sensation of someone caressing your hair, their movements soothing the heat and sweat.

And when you turn towards the voice you always loved to hear sing, your gaze meets one that matches the violet clouds of the crepuscular skies.

“So…” You call him, voice still hoarse from sleep and fever.

He brushes a few unruly strands away from your eyes, his touch so delicate; a barely there brush of butterfly wings against your flushed skin.

“How are you feeling?” Your lover asks, already knowing the answer can’t really be all that good, just by seeing your lidded eyes.

You stretch a little, sitting up in bed.

“Not great, honestly.” You mumble, bringing a hand to your forehead. Your thoughts are still fuzzy, a sharp pain piercing through them in chaotic disarray.

“I expected that much.” Sogo says, a concerned smile reaching his lips.

And it must be your jumbled mind, but you think a kiss from him would make all your pain disappear.

Before you can tell your boyfriend that, though, he adds:

“You should probably lie down for now, dearest. I’ll bring you some snacks, okay?”

Truth is, the prospect of eating your favorite treats sounds very tempting right now, but you don’t want Sogo to leave.

And you are aware you’re probably being childish and whiny, but you don’t care about that right now.

Before he can get up from the bed, the idol feels a slight tug on his sweater’s sleeve.

“Stay here…” You ask, as you look up at him.

And something in the way you ask, something about your tired tone, and your eyes that you’re struggling to keep focused, tugs at your partner’s heartstrings.

He could never say no to you, after all, could he?

Lashes of moonlit hyacinth brush against his cheekbones as he graces you with one of his tender expressions.

Under warm ironed covers, he joins you, the softness of his embrace a thousand times more comforting than any blanket. To be with him is to stand beneath demure lilac skies, a spring breeze gently touching every blossom, their fragrance wafting around and towards aster hued clouds.

You nuzzle against Sogo’s chest, as his lips tenderly place a kiss to your temples.

From between fluffy blankets, you look up at him.

His lips are too tempting for your dry lips.

You need him.

But at the same time, you don’t want him getting sick too… He has important work, both for IDOLiSH7 and MEZZO.

If he couldn’t perform because of you…

Your line of thought shatters at the call of your name, his voice barely above a whisper.

So’s face is millimeters away from yours, warm breaths mingling together.

And against yours, and his, better judgment, you both lean in.

Starlight and an horizon lined in shades of amethyst collide when his lips touch yours, a starry nebula, opening the gateway into a shared parenthesis in time, dyed in morning glories.

The next time you open your eyes, you are in a dim lit room.

You know this room.

Its walls have witnessed the affection shared between you and the man holding you close to his chest right now, after all.

“Good morning, So.” You whisper, planting a delicate kiss to his jawline. “I love you.” Are your words, before you cuddle against him, for a few more minutes of sweet dreamy indulgence.

Sebastian Sallow Myers-Briggs Type // Like Moths to a Flame Series (Seb x Male MC)

Since my series is told from Sebastian's POV, I thought I would take the Myers-Briggs test from his perspective too. My vision of Sebastian is apparently an ENTJ. The write-up is so scary accurate that it's freaking me out. LMAO. @honeybadgerdontcare394 - Thanks for saying you were interested in reading this (and taking one for your vision of Sebastian too!). @scilla-aster (if you want to try this too!!) I am so curious to see what other writers' versions of Sebastian's personality are. When I read other Hogwarts: Legacy stories, I like to imagine hundreds of different alternative universes where our Bash/Seb/(*insert nickname of choice here*) ends up happy and fulfilled with all our various OCs. (I have a very hard time reading stories that don't end happily for Bash.)

Notes re: his romantic compatibility with Damien (an ENFP), since they are essentially half-opposites (wow!): ENTJs primarily look for intellectual stimulation. As one of the most cerebral personality types, they enjoy debates, and they look for partners who open their minds to new ideas. ENTJs have a treasure chest of knowledge that they love to share with the right person.

^ Sebastian lucked out that Damien is a Ravenclaw and has an extremely curious mind.

ENTJs appreciate partners who can help them get in touch with their feelings because this isn’t something that comes naturally to people of this personality type.

I love this ^ because in my series Sebastian really struggles to understand and express his feelings. Damien is very in tune with his emotions and is not afraid to act on them. ENFPs see ENTJs for who they really are. ENTJs aren’t typically seen as warm people, but they tend to be extremely helpful, generous, and supportive. As one of the personality types who are most interested in people, ENFPs look deeper and notice traits about ENTJs that other people don’t see.

^ Don't mind me; just tearing up here. LMAO. I hope this came across in my series because it's one of the main reasons I wrote it. Sebastian needs someone to see him for who he truly is, and I'd like to think Damien does.

Budding Romance

When a familiar yet not so familiar figure walked in the door of his flower shop called Philo, Jeremiah found himself fighting emotions back at the mere tone of her voice. Different, yet familiar. The shine in her eyes was the same. Too bad Xavier wasn't here for him to tease around her. Their pinning was one of his greatest sources of entertainment once, long, long ago.

"What can I do for you, milady?" He greeted eagerly.

"Well," She looked resistant. "My plant is dying. I was looking through the reviews of local shops to see if I could find one to help and almost forgot I met you before."

Already nearly forgotten him again. He bit down on the cold feeling in his heart and told himself it wasn't her fault. She had no idea who he was in the first place.

"Sick plant? Can do. Let me see."

She presented him with a pitiful looking pothos.

"Now, my my. How did you manage to get it this bad?" He said teasingly.

After a few minutes of identifying the root diseases and explaining to her how it came to this point, he offered to repot it for her and after she agreed to the cost, he turned to the small sink behind the counter.

"Hey Jeremiah?" She asked, observing him as he stood back facing her, gingerly washing the roots of the sick plant. When he responded, she continued.

"How do you know Xavier?"

"Academy." He said plainly, not thinking too much about it. "Um.."

"Like hunter academy?" She asked, all too excited now. "So, you were a hunter too? Is that how you know so much about technology and data?"

He was glad his back was still facing her so she couldn't see his face of absolute panic.

"I wasn't. I just... well sort of? I'm not now so that's what matters."

"Right, I assumed because there's no way you could run a shop as beautiful as this without meticulous effort, and even my data scientist friends at the Deepspace Organization barely have time off to do recreational stuff let alone a whole side business."

"Well, I'll take that as a compliment then?"

"Yes! Sorry, I didn't mean anything otherwise."

He turned back, panic phased, desperately hoping the subject would change and that she wouldn't press him for more questions. But knowing her....

And he was right. She immediately continued.

"Can I ask why you decided not to join the hunters then?"

"Well..." He couldn't think of an excuse other than the truth. "I was tired. Wanderer after wanderer... felt like I wasn't making a difference. Then one day Xavier- uh," Panic returned. "Oh! I almost forgot. So, this plant needs to be watered once a week, nothing more than that or the rot will set in again." He attempted.

"Okay! Got it." She nodded cheerfully. "And then?"

She was not going to let him off that easily.

"Uhh, yeah he...made a suggestion. That's all. It lead me here. So, I still help him out from time to time."

"Oh, I see. You seem like good friends."

He snorted. "The guy's an idiot."

She looked surprised at his quick dismissal but could quickly see there was humor in his eyes.

"But," he continued, "He cares. Mostly. You know how he is."

She definitely did not know how he was, but he was just rambling now.

"Never asking for help, never communicating, expecting you to read his mind... It's not that I think he's incapable but he tries to do everything himself and Astra knows what he'd do without me."

FRICK.

"Astra? What's that?"

"Huh? Asters? Those over there." He quickly covered, pointing over the counter to the little clearance shelf across them. A few wilting purple flowers were in a pot with a markdown sticker.

"Sorry! Florist talk."

She laughed, glancing where he was pointing. "You curse in flowers?"

"Always gets a fun reaction. You should hear my other friends when I say stuff like 'Son of a Sunflower!"

She laughed again, full-bellied and bright. It was refreshing.

"That's cute. I might have to steal that." She replied, still giggling. He hadn't realized how much he missed it, even if even in the past it had mostly been at his expense.

"Speaking of," He plucked a sunflower from a display behind him. "On the house."

"No- I couldn't! Jeremiah, that's gorgeous!"

"Not as gorgeous as you." He said with a wink. It was merely an instinctual reply from years -hundreds of years- of habitual banter which was intending it as a playful and platonic not truly flirtatious, mostly around Xavier to irritate him. He stood fully expecting the usual smack in the arm and rolled eyes he was used to receiving from her.

Instead she blushed a little, taking its stem gently with two fingers.

"O-oh. You're sweet."

In shock he blinked at her, fighting the paired urge to keep rolling with it, but it stayed in his mind when he realized it wasn't as funny without Xavier around. And now realizing how seriously she'd taken it, embarrassment set in. In the past he'd never said anything about it, it was just a fact; like leaves were green, she was pretty. • The alter can actually sing really well (they didn’t have much to do in the xenoverse) but they would rather die than tell literally anyone that lol (bonus points if they have trishout. they are a duo)

• Alice is a pretty big fan of fairy types (my hc team for her has three lol)

• I have one massive mess of a hc family tree that I don’t feel like making rn but all you need to know is Gold gets bitches

• Abraham is actually a Pokemon who takes a human form (the scrapped Zoroark X to be specific) and he’s able to stay human indefinitely thanks to Luxflon’s blessing

• I don’t hc people as trans often (mainly bc I’m not trans myself) but that one Trey line where he said ‘this stupid body I never asked for is ripping me off’ is feeling awfully like he’s trans

• Despite what A & B said I have a hard time believing Victor sees Trey like a son so Trey gets added to the ‘adopted by Aster’ club (consisting of the mc, the rival, and now Trey)
